About Cal Lab

Cal Lab was formed in September 2009 to provide New Zealand companies with a local provider of optical calibration.

Company director Hamish Newton has been calibrating test equipment for over 15 years, both in New Zealand and in Australia.  He has extensive experience in quality systems in particular ISO/IEC 17025.  He has been an IANZ signatory for both calibration and testing laboratories for over 10 years.

Cal Lab is New Zealand’s first optical equipment calibration provider.
